Author Visit: Ross Montgomery 📚

Author Ross Montgomery has joined us at Sandon for the day 📚

Yr 5 & 6 students enjoyed hearing all about Ross’ top tips for writing their own stories and how he wrote his latest book. They were then treated to a fabulous reading of the first chapter of his magical new book, ‘Spellstone’!✨💫

Yr 3 & 4 heard an extract from a book in his ‘Rock Bottom’ series. 📚 He even let them in on a little secret about where he sourced his ideas from the books…  William Shakespeare! They then enjoyed a workshop creating their own adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. 

Yr 1 & 2 and our EY’s students were treated to a rendition of his story the ‘Ten Delicious Teachers’. 🔟 😋
