Year 6 had an absolutely fantastic day visiting Bletchley Park.
We took part in a workshop cracking a variety of codes and some of us even had the opportunity to touch a real life Enigma machine that would have been used during World War 2! We also had a brilliant guided tour of Bletchley where we learnt about the work that was done there during the war and how crucial the work of the code breakers was.
We also had a little bit of time to explore the site and we could really imagine what life would have been like for a codebreaker in World War 2. A real highlight of the trip was the opportunity to see the incredible Alan Turingās office!
It was a brilliant trip and the childrenās behaviour was exemplary š
