Today, Year Two visited Gladstone Pottery Museum to help us develop a greater understanding of the historic pottery industry in Stoke On Trent and to learn more about the local potter Clarice Cliff. We designed our own clay pots and art deco plates, explored the bottle kilns, carried a sagger and watched many pieces of pottery being made and decorated.
