In today's literacy in year 3, we've been using our imaginations and putting our drama skills to the test.
We sequenced and retold our focus story 'The First Drawing' using lots of props and different resources.
First we woke up in a gloomy cave. Then went to the river to wash (Mrs Beckett even got involved). Next we watched the animals play. After we went hunting with our flint axe and knife. Just then we saw a huge woolly mammoth. Then we drew cave paintings about what we'd seen. Later we cooked our food on the hot fire. At last, we went to sleep.
