Mastering Measuring in Maths!

Since coming back to school after the Easter holidays, Year 3 have been learning about measuring - how to use a ruler and measure lines accurately. When they arrived into school on Tuesday, it seemed like we had had a visitor over the Bank Holiday weekend! Our classroom was filled with footprints (we think that they were left by our baby dragon!). It was our job to work out how far the dragon had walked by measuring the different lines around the room. We used meter sticks to help us and we recorded our findings in meters. They did an amazing job!
