To help settle in to our Reception class, Mrs O'Keef has introduced the children to the Worry Monster!
They talked about their worries starting school; the children took it in turns to share their worries, writing them down and feeding them to our worry monster.
We had some wonderful responses such as:
Will I make new friends?
I don’t know where the toilets are?
Will my teachers be nice?
Will my Mummy miss me?
To follow on from today's learning, they will check the worry monster’s tummy tomorrow to see if all of their worries have gone
away.
