We're Poet's don't you know it!

We have had a fantastic day celebrating poetry. Our super exciting morning started off with a 'virtual' assembly with Nick Sharratt. The children were very excited to see Nick's office and thoroughly enjoyed listening to him read his favourite poem. We then read a poem called 'The Hand' and the children created their own poem called 'The Eye'. The did some beautiful writing and created their own actions. In the afternoon the children produced some fantastic Art work to match their poems. Have a look at our super day!
