ZIM ZAM ZOOOOOOM!

This week in Literacy the children in Year 2 have been reading the poem 'Zim Zam Zoom' By James Carter. We began the week making rockets to act out the poem and read the poem in different ways. To help us to recite the poem by heart, we drew illustrations for each verse to help us visualize it and added rhythm to the poem using a variety of instruments. We then tried our hand at writing our own Zim Zam Zoom poem using rhyme.
